What a peptide is

A peptide is a short chain of amino acids joined by peptide bonds — smaller than a protein, larger than a single amino acid. Sequence determines structure, and structure determines how a compound behaves. That is why we publish the sequence, formula, and molecular weight for every active we use.

Thin-film delivery

A dissolvable film is a polymer matrix carrying a precisely measured quantity of active. On contact with moisture the matrix hydrates and disintegrates, releasing the active from the film. The format's advantages are practical: precision portioning, no reconstitution, no sharps, and no cold chain.

Reading a certificate of analysis

  1. Identity — mass spectrometry confirming the compound matches the stated sequence.
  2. Purity — an HPLC percentage, typically reported against total peak area.
  3. Batch and date — ties the document to the physical lot you received.
  4. Laboratory — the independent facility that performed the analysis.
