A peptide is a short chain of amino acids joined by peptide bonds — smaller than a protein, larger than a single amino acid. Sequence determines structure, and structure determines how a compound behaves. That is why we publish the sequence, formula, and molecular weight for every active we use.
A dissolvable film is a polymer matrix carrying a precisely measured quantity of active. On contact with moisture the matrix hydrates and disintegrates, releasing the active from the film. The format's advantages are practical: precision portioning, no reconstitution, no sharps, and no cold chain.
